SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Fresh off of a dominant week on the pitch, Gabriel Bracken Serra was named the West Coast Conference's Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 4.
Staying hot for the Dons, Gabriel Bracken Serra impressed again offensively for San Francisco this week. After tallying two shots against CSU Bakersfield on Thursday, Sept. 7, Bracken Serra recorded his first collegiate brace with two goals in USF's 3-0 shutout of Bay Area rival California on Sunday, Sept. 10. In the 37th minute, Max Hamelink delivered a perfect pass to Bracken Serra a few feet atop the box before the Berkeley native sent it past the opposing keeper to double up the Golden Bears.
