FAIRFAX, Calif. – The University of San Francisco women's golf team finished the first day with a 26-over 602 (301-301) at the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Collegiate cohosted by the Dons and San Jose State at the Meadow Club. Freshman Annika Borrelli led the Dons with a strong second round to finish the opening day tied for 12th.
"The golf course staff had the course in great shape today and the weather was pristine," said head coach Sara Doell. "As a team, we were strong from tee to green. The putter was what hurt us today as several players struggled to get the speed of the green.
