SAN FRANCISCO — The Battle in the Bay hosted by the University of San Francisco tennis program will be featured in this week's episode of the USF's cable television show "Behind the Mask." Over the past 10 years, the Battle in the Bay hosted at the California Tennis Club started from its very own grass roots, bringing in local schools to compete with. As the idea kept flourishing, this yearly tournament has grown into the most well-known, premier tournament in the country, attracting nationally ranked teams from across the nation.
Schools that compete in the Battle in the Bay tournament are Wake Forest University, University of Texas, Stanford, TCU, USC, Georgia, California, Hawaii, Michigan, Cal Poly, Texas Tech, Fresno State, San Diego State, UC Santa Barbara, University of San Diego, Pacific, Pepperdine, Santa Clara, and Sacramento State.
