RIVERSIDE, Calif. – In its first-ever game at James W. Totman Stadium, the University of San Francisco baseball team (8-9) dropped an 11-1 non-conference decision to California Baptist (8-9) in a shortened seven-inning affair Tuesday evening.

- California Baptist struck first in the second and third innings, opening a commanding 6-0 lead, highlighted by a Kenny Winters grand slam in a five-run third frame.
- Kenny DeCelle put San Francisco on the board in the top of the fifth, recording a sacrifice fly to center field, scoring Trevor Harmon to trim the deficit to 6-1.
