SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (10-10) dropped a hard-fought 5-2 decision to Creighton (9-5) Saturday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Creighton gained the early advantage at the top of the first inning, jumping ahead 1-0 on a Will MacLean RBI single to right field.
- The Blue Jays added to their lead in the top of the sixth inning, scoring four runs to take a 5-0 advantage. Despite only recording two hits, a throwing error by third baseman Patrick Keighran and a Kyle Hess sacrifice bunt helped Creighton expand its margin.
