SAN FRANCISCO – USF received three tremendous pitching performances and got some timely hitting as they defeated visiting Pepperdine 4-2 on Saturday to take the series.
The Dons (27-20/14-9 WCC) tallied four runs on five hits, none bigger than a two-run blast by in the bottom of the fourth. Pepperdine (19-20/10-10 WCC) were held to two runs on 10 hits and left 11 on base.

- The Waves struck first scoring a run in the top of the second, they added a second run in the top of the fifth.
