SAN FRANCISCO- The San Francisco Dons baseball team started West Coast Conference play off on the right foot, beating the University of The Pacific Tigers 9-2 on Friday

USF got the things started quickly, scoring two runs in the bottom of the second inning. Nick Yovetich went 2-for-3 and had two RBI's, hitting a two out double to score Brady Bate and Aaron Ping in the second inning. USF would continue its potent offensive afternoon, scoring two runs in the third inning as well.

In the fourth inning, USF extended their lead with Jack Winkler leading off the inning with a single.
