SAN FRANCISCO — The University of San Francisco baseball team got solid pitching performances on the mound Sunday, but so did host CSU Bakersfield, as the Roadrunners held the Dons' offense at Bay in a 2-0 non-conference shutout win to clinch a series victory at Hardt Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- For the second Sunday in a row, San Francisco (2-5) went with a double-headed monster of Landen Bourassa and Grant Nechak to start the game as they both work back from injuries a year ago. Both of them improved upon their outings from a week ago.
