Davis, Calif. –– In its final match before West Coast Conference play, the USF men's tennis team lost 6-1 to UC Davis on Saturday afternoon. The Dons will now be off from match play for two weeks, with the conference-opener set for Feb. 20 against Pacific.
In doubles action, the Aggies took the overall point, winning at No. 2 and No. 3. Christian Brockstedt and Tynan Maguire took on Brett Bacharach and Eli Whittle in the No. 2 spot, but Davis won 6-1. Then, Bryce McKelvie and and Tommy Lam clinched the point over Thomas Takemoto and Ryan Marker with a 6-3 victory.
