Saturday’s wild-card matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks might force Pete Carroll into his rarest form: the one where he wears a hat.
Carroll turned many heads on Sunday when he wore a hat on the sidelines of the Seahawks-Rams game. The Seattle head coach is decidedly not a hat guy, and it brought a shock to the senses akin to seeing your teacher at the grocery store.
The mystery drove many people on Seahawks Twitter and beat reporters up the wall with curiosity. Carroll was asked about it on his radio show, recorded on Monday.
