Offensive line might have been a quiet need the San Francisco 49ers had entering the 2019 NFL Draft.
Eight picks later, however, only one move was made — Vanderbilt tackle Justin Skule — to address the depth. It’s anyone’s guess whether or not that comes back to bite the Niners this season, who especially have some concerns within the interior.
But if there’s a player who could potentially change that, it’s Iowa offensive guard Ross Reynolds, who joined San Francisco as an undrafted free agent.
Reynolds took a while to get a starting job in college, but eventually solidified the left guard spot as a junior and holding onto it until he finished before the 2019 draft.
