The San Francisco 49ers have a bye this weekend, but at 3-6 with one of the easiest schedules in the NFL remaining there is a slightly different concern that the team must face in what is already a lost season.
Barring some miracle, the 49ers will not be making the playoffs this season, so we can go ahead and wave that pipe dream goodbye. Yet, with winning three or four of their remaining games well within the realm of possibility (the 49ers play the Lions, Browns, and Bears, for goodness’ sake) the 49ers could win their way out of a crucial draft pick.
