The San Francisco 49ers had a much different offseason this season, as they returned to the first round of the NFL Draft for the first time in three years.
As a result, they selected Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall with the No. 31 pick in a move that was surprising to some, but made sense given the team’s future outlook at the position.
Beyond that, San Francisco made a selection in every single round except the fifth round, ultimately ending with eight picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, as they targeted a number of key positions.
