If you were to note the San Francisco 49ers‘ top three needs in the 2019 NFL Draft, it would likely include a top pass-rusher, help in the secondary and at wide receiver.
Hidden in there, however, is another need not overly discussed: the offensive line.
Wide receiver is surely the top offensive need, yet one can think about the needs head coach Kyle Shanahan has up front on this side of the ball. Sure, the Niners appear poised to carry over the same crop of starters they had for most of 2018. That said, all one needs to do is note how Football Outsiders ranked San Francisco’s O-line 10th in run blocking but 22nd in pass protection.
