Last Friday, July 15, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aaron Lynch was given a four-game suspension by the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. It’s unfortunate timing, with training camp just around the corner, and a big blow to a team that could ill-afford to lose talent while it’s rebuilding.
