Which other 49ers would Eddie DeBartolo pick for Hall of Fame?

CANTON, Ohio -- On the verge of his long-awaited enshrinement, Eddie DeBartolo hopes some other overlooked 49ers will someday follow him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

He was asked Friday, at his final news conference, to pick another deserving candidate for induction."That's a really tough question,'' he said. "Can I name four?"Of course you can.DeBartolo's picks: offensive lineman Randy Cross, running back Roger Craig, John McVay ("One of the best general managers ever") and executive Carmen Policy ("for how much he helped and what he did for the league.")DeBartolo will be inducted here Saturday night during a ceremony Saturday night, along with the Raiders quarterback, Ken Stabler, as well as Tony Dungy, Brett Favre, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Orlando Pace and Dick Stanfel.
