The San Francisco 49ers offense took a big step forward when Jimmy Garoppolo took over, and we saw some impressive work from the wide receivers. Marquise Goodwin had a breakout year, Trent Taylor was a key weapon in the slot, and even Kendrick Bourne started to emerge after a slow start to the season.
One player who did not get a chance to connect with Jimmy G was Pierre Garçon. He fractured a bone in his neck eight games into the season, and spent the second half of the year on injured reserve.
