The San Franciso 49ers have started off the year with a disappointing 2-3 start, failing to meet expectations with early losses to the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, and Arizona Cardinals.
There has been a bevy of issues in each of the three games, but one aspect remains the same: they’ve really struggled in the red zone.
San Francisco entered the past weekend ranked 20th in the NFL in red zone efficiency, scoring touchdowns on just 50 percent of their opportunities, and then they went 1/6 against Arizona in an abysmal performance when it came to finishing drives.
