So, what is Owens’ take of current 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo? He thinks the 49ers are on to something good.
“No. 1, it starts with the quarterback,” Owens said on a Wednesday media conference call announcing his 49ers Hall of Fame election. “I know Jimmy Garoppolo got hurt last year, but with the upside and what people saw of him the last two years, and you put pieces around him, then the sky’s the limit.
