It appears as though San Francisco 49ers fans will be spared another week of Nick Mullens and/or C.J. Beathard.
Friday morning, head coach Kyle Shanahan said on KNBR that he's "hoping" the injured Jimmy Garoppolo will start on Sunday vs. the Miami Dolphins.
"It's looking like that's going to be the case," Shanahan said of Garoppolo being active. "If he's sore today or has any setbacks [after practice Friday], we'll wait, but I'm hoping it will all work out."
Garoppolo was a limited participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday after missing the last two weeks with an ankle sprain suffered in Week 2 vs.
