What do 49ers do at running back when Tevin Coleman returns?

Injuries have been a theme for the San Francisco 49ers over the first three weeks of 2019. And it’s one of the reasons why the Niners’ Week 4 bye is actually beneficial.

It helps head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad get a bit healthier heading into its next stretch of games.

One of the players scheduled to come back, according to Shanahan (h/t Ali Thanawalla of NBC Sports Bay Area), is running back Tevin Coleman.

Coleman suffered an ankle sprain during San Francisco’s Week 1 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he’s been sidelined ever since.
