The San Francisco 49ers need an edge rusher, if not multiple edge rushers. Cassius Marsh did some decent work off the edge, and Ronald Blair was a really solid rotational option, but they need a big time playmaker. At the same time, they could use a clear No. 1 cornerback for the long-term, some safety competition would be nice, and adding a linebacker to replace Reuben Foster should be a priority.
The question is what of that they cover with the No. 2 overall pick. Ohio State edge rusher Nick Bosa and Kentucky edge rusher Josh Allen have been the top two picks in a lot of 2019 NFL mock drafts, but USA Today’s Nate Davis offered a different take altogether in his recent mock draft.
