What 49ers’ starting lineup should look like for final two games of 2018

Now at 4-10, following their 26-23 Week 15 overtime win versus the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers can continue embracing the spoiler role while evaluating various parts of their roster heading into the 2019 offseason.

It’s a process that has already started in many areas, partially due to injury attrition and also due to head coach Kyle Shanahan’s desire to see what he has on his roster.

As cornerback Richard Sherman pointed out in his postgame presser, the Niners are starting plenty of first- and second-year players this deep into the season, possibly projecting them to having the youngest starting group in the NFL right now.
