For the first time as a head coach, Kyle Shanahan held a trophy over his head Sunday night and told his players he wanted another.
“We worked all year to get to this spot right here, man. We knew we had to earn this for the next one,” he said, holding the George Halas Trophy signifying the NFC championship over his head. “But you guys know this isn’t the one we set out to get, right?”
