General Manager John Lynch: “Good morning. Welcome, everyone. Last time we were here, [QB] Jimmy [Garoppolo] called an audible, and you’re perfectly welcome to if you want, and start off again. But if not, we’ll get going. Congratulations to Jimmy. Congratulations to his family. I want to acknowledge his family. His parents are here, Tony and Denise, his brothers, Mike, Billy and Tony are over there, and family is important to Jimmy and it’s wonderful to have them here with our family, the 49er family. I want to acknowledge some people that worked really hard along the way in this process, starting with [chief strategy officer & executive vice president, football operations] Paraag Marathe and his team, [director of football administration and analytics] Brian Hampton, can’t thank you enough for the job you did.
