The second day of San Francisco 49ers training camp yielded mixed reviews. Day one saw plenty of big plays from WR Torrey Smith and undrafted rookie free-agent WR DeAndrew White but today was quite the opposite.
49ers second-year RB Carlos Hyde dropped ball after ball in team drills while QB Colin Kaepernick forced a deep ball to WR Anquan Boldin in double-coverage as he rolled left, only to see the ball get intercepted by CB Tramaine Brock. An interception that would have not otherwise have taken place due to 49ers OLB Aldon Smith getting a would-be sack on Kaepernick in non-contact team drills, it remains to be seen how far Kaepernick has come as he still has tunnel vision at times.
