Anthony Davis is absent from the 49ers locker room, but their former right tackle has had a notable social-media presence the past two days.
Today, a day after Davis said on Twitter that it was his “plan” to return to the NFL in 2016, he again indicated he expects to come back to the league: “When I return I’ll be the best RT in the league again. Hands Down.”
Today, head coach Jim Tomsula was asked about Davis’ plans.
“First of all, I’m not even thinking about the playing side with Anthony,” Tomsula said.
