Last week, the San Francisco 49ers hosted edge rusher Ziggy Ansah for a workout, but the two sides couldn’t agree on financial terms, and Ansah left the Bay Area without a deal. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the 49ers are flying Ansah to the east coast to meet them with the expectation that Ansah signs after going through COVID testing.
With Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas likely out for the season with torn ACLs, San Francisco may be forced to sign two edge rushers this week.
