Former 49ers flameout Javon Kinlaw had himself a nightmare series late against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, racking up three costly penalties in a fourth-quarter drive where the Jets gave up the go-ahead field goal.
The first of the boneheaded trilogy happened with 5:18 left in the fourth quarter. Kinlaw wrapped up and threw Bills quarterback Josh Allen to the ground after the ball had left his opponent’s hand. While replay did show Allen sold the roughing the passer penalty a little bit, Kinlaw still tossed the quarterback to the grass, forcing a flag.
