Remember when the San Francisco 49ers selected former NC State defensive tackle Kentavius Street in Round 4 of the 2018 NFL Draft?
It was a questionable pick at the time. After all, Street tore his ACL during pro day workouts, demolishing his draft stock and essentially shelving his NFL debut until 2019 at the earliest. And with the Niners’ recent history of drafting injured players, mostly during the tenure of former general manager Trent Baalke, it’s easy to see why many viewed the Street selection as a wasted pick.
Or was it?
San Francisco has a few defensive line questions this offseason.
