The San Francisco 49ers learned on Friday that they received a fourth round comp pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. The comp pick comes courtesy of Alex Boone signing with the Minnesota Vikings.
The 49ers signed free agents Zane Beadles and Thaddeus Lewis, while losing free agents Reggie Bush and Anquan Boldin. Beadles did not factor in because he was released, as opposed to seeing his contract come to a close. Lewis did not qualify based on contract and playing factors. The 49ers did not make qualifying offers to either Bush or Boldin, so they did not count in the formula.
