Surprise: DT Dorsey won’t play for 49ers’ struggling defense

The 49ers’ already injury riddled defense won’t have defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey tonight for their meeting against the Cardinals at Levi’s Stadium.

Dorsey had played 30 snaps in the past two games in his return from a torn ACL he sustained in November. However, he was limited in practice Wednesday after he was full participant in practice the previous two days.

The 49ers, who rank last in the NFL in run defense, were already without defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (foot) and linebacker NaVorro Bowman (Achilles), who was placed on injured reserve today.
