The San Francisco 49ers were given Wednesday off after four consecutive practices. The team returned on Thursday for Day 5 and were greeted by their first red-zone practice, with two out of the three final sessions taking place inside the 20-yard line. Kyle Shanahan’s offense took control early, getting the better of a defense that’s been the star through four practices.
