For the second time in less than three weeks, the 49ers have attempted to bolster their suspect offensive line with a trade.
The 49ers have acquired undrafted rookie center Nick Easton from the Ravens, ESPN reported. Easton, 23, started all 10 games and was a first-team All-Ivy League selection at Harvard last year. The terms of the deal are unknown.
The trade provides the 49ers with depth at center, where Marcus Martin will start the season. Last year’s starting center, Daniel Kilgore will be sidelined for at least the season’s first six games.
