The SF 49ers could have lost one of their top talent evaluators this offseason, Adam Peters, to one of a number of open general manager roles around the league.
But fortunately, Peters is staying in-house and is receiving a promotion from his previous role as the team’s vice president of player personnel.
In a press release from the team’s website, San Francisco announced it was promoting Peters to an assistant general manager role where he’ll continue to directly support general manager John Lynch, albeit now in a bigger capacity.
