MOBILE, Ala. — If the names Jaylon Ferguson and Nasir Adderley don’t ring a bell, you’re probably not alone.
Neither played at a Power 5 program, Ferguson spending his college career at Louisiana Tech and Adderley at FCS school Delaware. Yet spend a week at the Senior Bowl and you’ll hear their names drawing rave reviews as two small-school defensive standouts who might both go in the first round come April.
Ferguson, a defensive end who led the nation with 17.5 sacks, said he models his game after Khalil Mack. Adderley, a versatile defensive back, chose Earl Thomas for the same question.
