The San Francisco 49ers are looking for some help in their pass rush. The team is bringing in outside linebacker/defensive ends Erik Walden for a visit and Hau’oli Kikaha for a workout, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Both could potentially fill the reserve role previously occupied by Dekoda Watson.
Both are listed as linebackers, but in reality they are more likely to be options in getting at the passer and setting the edge. Walden had 11 sacks two seasons ago for the Indianapolis Colts, but has struggled to generate much interest in the market.
