The 49ers had nearly 25 roster spots to fill out to make the 90-man roster before training camp. Obviously, a lot of those will be filled out by rookies that are drafted or signed as undrafted free agents.
San Francisco continues to wheel and deal filling out the rest of their roster, signing ex-Denver Broncos linebacker Dekoda Watson.
Watson, 29, has spent seven years in the NFL bouncing around from team to team. His last stop was in Denver, where he was a special teams ace, recording a special-teams high 11 tackles.
Throughout his career, he’s appeared in 89 games, racked up 88 tackles and four sacks.
