San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch strikes again.
For the second year in a row, all of the 49ers drafted rookies have made it through final cuts (including ones placed on reserve lists).
And it’s not just for random reasons either. Players like rookie wide receiver Richie James have been so impressive that they could have been drafted much earlier and still far surpassed early expectations.
Let’s be realistic, though. James is buried on the receiving depth chart for now and has to patiently wait for his turn.
