There’s a report, courtesy of Niners Nation, stating the San Francisco 49ers will introduce a new alternate uniform for the upcoming 2018 season.
Teams are allowed one alternate uniform aside from their standard home and away jerseys. Since 2015, the Niners have used their RGB uniforms — a mostly all-black appearance — on certain nights and on the NFL’s color rush-featured games, primarily on Thursday Night Football.
