The San Francisco 49ers were in position to come away with an upset victory over the visiting Arizona Cardinals in Week 12 but saw their hopes dashed on a late fourth-quarter touchdown run by Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer that gave Arizona a 19-13 victory at Levi’s Stadium.
True, the 49ers should feel pretty good about holding the top-ranked Cardinals offense in check for most of the game. And, considering this game had the makings of yet another blowout loss, San Francisco does have some positives upon which can be built.
But an unfortunate aspect of the game was the officiating.
