Adam Scheftert of NESPN just reported that former San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman DeForest Buckner has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams for a 2019 eighth-round pick. The report also states an assistant water specialist might be included in the deal.
This trade gives another weapon on the defensive line for Rams’ defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who must be licking his chops right now.
Buckner has been the 49ers’ most dominant defensive lineman for the past couple of years, most recently grading out on Pro Football Focus with an “elite” grade of 90.
