Unfortunately, year-long starting offensive guard Laken Tomlinson suffered what appeared to be a torn ACL in the San Francisco 49ers‘ final game of the season against the Los Angeles Rams.
At the 4:04 mark of the second quarter against the Los Angeles Rams, Tomlinson’s right leg collided with Rams linebacker Dante Fowler, bending the leg back in hyper-extending fashion. Tomlinson went to the ground in a lot of pain and required a cart to leave the field.
During his postgame presser, head coach Kyle Shanahan hinted at the team fearing Tomlinson tore his ACL on the play.
