What’s San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke’s draft strategy for this coming April’s draft?
The 49ers had the fifteenth pick, overall, in the first round in the 2015 draft. After finding a trade partner in the San Diego Chargers, the Niners then moved down two spots to select defensive end Arik Armstead.
Baalke staying true to his Bill Parcells pedigree, picked up an extra draft pick in the fourth round (117 overall) and selected promising rookie tight end Blake Bell with loads of potential!
Operation Two For One.
Baalke likes to get value at a frugal price, while meeting team needs: scheme versatility, excellent attributes, passionate players that love the game and with high character and integrity.
