It was a big day by the San Francisco 49ers as they notched up their second road victory of the year defeating the Cincinnati Bengals by a final score of 41-17. The 49ers are now 2-0 to start the 2019 season.
They haven’t been 2-0 in their first two road games of the season since 2011-12 when they took their first two road games at Cincinnati and Philadelphia. They then went on to be 13-3 that year, only to lose to the New York Giants in the NFC Championship Game.
San Francisco also hasn’t started off a season 2-0 with those first two games being on the road since the 1988-89 season when they won the Super Bowl with this guy named Joe Montana captaining the ship.
