The San Francisco 49ers aren’t quite done finalizing their 53-man roster in advance of Week 1 of the regular season.
Per the team’s website, the Niners placed rookie cornerback Will Redmond on injured reserve and also re-signed running back DuJuan Harris to a one-year deal.
General manager Trent Baalke drafted Redmond in Round 3 of the 2016 NFL Draft. Redmond was coming off an ACL injury last October. Baalke fully expected Redmond to be ready for training camp and the regular season, per Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News.
