The San Francisco 49ers are at a crossroads. After going into the 2018 NFL season as one of the NFC favorites to make the playoffs, they tumbled to 4-12 as injuries and bad luck left them wondering what went wrong.
As the old saying goes: there’s always next year. So that’s the approach we’re going to take for the time being. Instead of wallowing about the failure that was the 49ers’ 2018 campaign, we’re turning our attention to the future. That means figuring out where the club goes from here, and what adjustments can be made to ensure more success in 2019.
