Winning games is still important for the San Francisco 49ers. Even after the team fell short, losing 27-23, to the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
That loss reinforced the fact head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad has difficulty putting away opponents. Week 10 marked the fourth time this season the Niners have coughed up a fourth-quarter lead.
With such a young roster, Shanahan’s players need to learn how to overcome these kinds of setbacks.
Equally as important, though, the 49ers need to find what kind of players will be worth holding onto when the 2018 season is finished.
