No player wants to see a teammate go down to injury. Whether fighting for playing time or competing for a roster spot, no player wishes ill will on another. Nonetheless in the game of football injuries happen, and San Francisco 49ers QB Thad Lewis is no exception.
The 4th-year player out of Duke University, will miss the 2016 season due to a left ACL tear. An injury that occurred in the third-quarter of the Houston Texans game, Lewis will now start the rehabbing process, as the team nurses him back to health.
