The quarterback market has settled into the backup phase, and the latest signing is a bit unexpected. The Baltimore Ravens announced on Wednesday that they have signed Robert Griffin III to a one-year contract. He joins a Ravens QB room that includes Joe Flacco and Josh Woodrum.
Griffin last played in 2016, appearing in five games with the Cleveland Browns. They released him after the season when a roster bonus came due, and he did not sign anywhere in 2017.
This past December, he said he had offers last offseason from the Ravens and the Arizona Cardinals, but he turned both down.
